Memory Bears
~ Treasure Bears~
These
little lady bears have been made for others to treasure.
Made in
memory of a mother, grandma, daughter, sister, and a friend.
I have
presented many examples of different articles
of clothing
that can be used to create your special memory bear.
A
beautiful bear made from a cashmere scarf and accents
created
from a silk scarf.
A
beautiful bear made from a sweater and complimentary paw pads.
This
pretty lady was made from a denim blouse
and a
favorite plaid shirt. The blouse had an angel on it
that I as
able to incorporate on the chest of the bear.
…with the
extra I made a little pillow.
Two very
sweet bears made from a tan shirt. I used
pink and
purple accents to make these bears extra special
A darling
little bear made from a coral colored
shirt and
a striped sweater. I stitched a heart on the chest
with a
special quote.
A cute
bear from Grandma’s house coat .
This sweet
bear was made from a young girl’s pink camos
and a
shirt with her favorite baseball team’s logo.
The bear
above and below is in memory of Ashley.
Above and
below are bears made from a soft white fuzzy
robe and
blue velour sweatshirt. We used both garments
for each
bear and added a few little accent pieces.
Each with
monogramming names and dates.
Two pretty
little lady bears made from a cashmere coat
and plaid
shorts.
These happy bears are made from a combination
of chenille tops. We embroidered special dates on their
footpads.
This is a bear
made from part fur and the special
garments…we
used a lovely pink housecoat and buttons and embroidery for detail.

A bunch of
sweet bears from Mom and Dad’s terry cloth robes. I used a bit of each
for the
pads and ears so as to have both robes in the bears.
This
precious bear was made from a variety of garments
including
Grandma’s embroidered hankie.
